Construction

Construction of the AT acrylic tape

A homogeneous foamed-acrylic core acts like thousands of micro-dampers: it distributes stress evenly, compensates for substrate irregularities and dampens vibration — unlike point-fixings such as rivets or welds.

1 2 3 4
  1. 1 Protective liner — Red (AT) or blue (FT) with ManuMastery print — removed during installation
  2. 2 Acrylic adhesive layer — High bond energy, adhesion building up to full strength after 72 h
  3. 3 Foamed acrylic core — Viscoelastic — distributes stress, compensates for irregularities, dampens vibration
  4. 4 Acrylic adhesive layer — Second bonding side — installation without drilling or welding

Five reasons

Why ManuMastery

We are a challenger, not a copy. We're not asking you to replace your current tape everywhere — we're offering the position of an approved second source where we objectively fit.

01

The same acrylic class

Foamed acrylic in the class of leading premium tapes — with a complete technical datasheet, not a set of adjectives. You get parameters you can enter into your own documentation.

02

Polish brand, real support

You're buying from a Polish company with direct contact and technical support in Polish — a real person, not a hotline. Documentation, variant selection and samples for your application.

03

From Poland, ready to ship

We ship single rolls from Poland, with no waiting for delivery from an overseas warehouse. Short lead times and real availability, including for recurring orders.

04

Cutting to any width in 24 h

We keep standard 6–25 mm in stock; any other size we cut to order in 24 h — no minimums, from a single roll. Plus technical support in Polish, from a real person.

05

Free sample + test protocol

You don't have to take our word for it. We'll send a sample in your size and a ready-made side-by-side test protocol, so you can check the tape on your own substrate before changing anything in production.

Quality and testing

Parameters you can verify — and honesty where the data isn't there yet

To us, premium class means measurable parameters and a complete technical datasheet, not marketing slogans. Where we have data, we state it plainly. Where testing is still underway, we say so openly instead of inflating the numbers.

-20° +50° +100° +150° Acrylic AT +150° Foam FT -20° +150°
long-term use peak (short-term)

AT: the datasheet gives the upper resistance limits (+90 / +150 °C); the lower operating range is not specified. "Peak" = short-term resistance.

Adhesion (peel) — test report in preparation

We deliberately do not quote a numerical peel value until we confirm it in an accredited laboratory using the same method as leading manufacturers (90° peel, stainless steel, 72 h dwell time). We'd rather have no number than an unverified one. Need data for your documentation? Get in touch — we'll share the current status of testing.

An honest substrate checklist

We'll tell you plainly where the tape holds — and where it doesn't

The effectiveness of acrylic tape depends on the surface energy of the substrate. Instead of promising it "holds on everything", we give you a real map. That builds trust — because we perform best exactly where the tape genuinely holds.

Holds without primer

HSE / MSE substrates

  • Steel, aluminium, stainless steel
  • Glass, ceramics
  • ABS, polycarbonate (PC)
  • PMMA / acrylic glass, rigid PVC
  • Wood, varnish (verify powder coating)

Usually with primer / to be tested

borderline substrates

  • Powder coatings
  • Some coatings and paints
  • Borderline plastics
  • Porous surfaces
  • Always worth testing with a sample

Not recommended

LSE substrates

  • Polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE)
  • TPO, TPE
  • Silicone
  • PTFE / Teflon
  • Greasy and dusty surfaces

What we do NOT promise

Honesty about the limits of application builds trust in the applications where we genuinely perform:

  • We do not match specialist high-temperature grades above 150 °C.
  • We do not claim to hold without primer on LSE substrates (PP, PE, powder coatings).
  • We do not yet hold ETA / UL certification for glass structures and EV battery applications — and we say so plainly.

More than a supplier

Certified bonding specialists stand behind the tape

We don't just sell rolls. Our team includes certified European Adhesive Engineers (EAE) and European Adhesive Specialists (EAS) — EWF/DVS qualifications in structural bonding technology. We'll help you calculate and validate the joint, implement it, train your team and check the process — so the bond holds the first time.

EWF / DVS qualifications on the team

EAE

European Adhesive Engineer

The highest level of qualification — design, supervision and quality assurance of the entire structural bonding process.

EAS

European Adhesive Specialist

Application procedures and parameters, instruction, quality control and problem identification in production.

The European, harmonised personnel certification system for bonding (EWF/DVS). It entitles the holder to, among other things, act as bonding supervisor (Klebaufsicht) per DIN 2304 and DIN 6701.

Calculation and validation

We size and calculate the bonded joint for your loads, then validate it — demonstrating it will hold throughout the entire life cycle — with documentation and confirmation of compliance per DIN 2304.

Implementation

We fit the tape into your assembly process: selecting the line, colour and width, a test protocol on your substrate, support during the first applications, and cutting to size.

Training

We teach your team correct application — substrate preparation, primer, pressure and full-adhesion time. A good tape applied badly won't hold; we show you how to do it right.

Audit

We review your joints and assembly process: where the tape can safely replace rivets, screws or welds, on which substrates it genuinely holds, and where to change the variant or add primer.

Frequently asked questions

Before you order a sample

What's the difference between the AT acrylic tape and the FT foam tape?
The AT acrylic line delivers durable, structural bonds on high-surface-energy substrates (metal, glass, rigid plastics) with full adhesion after 72 h. The FT PE foam line is for faster assembly and better compensates for substrate irregularities.
Is the tape available in any width?
We keep the standard widths 6, 9, 12, 15, 19 and 25 mm in stock. We cut any other width to size in 24 h — no minimums, from a single roll.
On which substrates does the tape hold without primer?
Without primer, the acrylic tape holds on steel, aluminium, stainless steel, glass, ABS, polycarbonate, PMMA/acrylic glass, rigid PVC and wood. On LSE substrates (PP, PE, silicone, PTFE) we do not recommend installation. Before implementation, it's worth testing with a free sample.

Test it before you change anything

We'll send a free sample in your size and a ready-made side-by-side test protocol. Tell us what substrate you're mounting on — we'll select the sample to match.
